Banepa, April 2 : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Development and Federal Affairs, Prakash Man Singh, has said the talks the ruling parties were going to hold with the 30-party alliance would be decisive this time.

Laying a foundation stone to a building for the regional stadium at Panauti of Kavre on Wednesday, DPM Singh, however, said if the decisive talks took fail to forge consensus, the voting process in the Constituent Assembly would be forwarded for the democratic constitution.

According to him, maximum efforts of flexibility were needed to forge consensus. He urged the UCPN (Maoist) to seek solution through dialogue.

Earlier, at a programme organized to mark the fourth assembly of the Saptalal Shreeram Memorial Foundation at Panauti, he said democratic constitution would be issued meeting criteria at the CA.

“New constitution is needed to institutionalize every achievement of the people’s movement,” he stressed.
