The petroleum products to be provided to Nepal by China in grant would reach Rasuwagadhi till Wednesday.

Chief District Officer in Rasuwa, Shivaram Gelal, said that they have got the information through the Department of Commerce and Supplies that 25 Nepali tankers would supply the petroleum products to Kathmandu from Rasuwagadhi every day.

The petroleum products, which would be brought at Rasuwagadhi by China, would be refilled in Nepali tankers, it is learnt. The Rasuwagadhi border check point, which was completely damaged by the April 25 earthquake, was brought into operation a few days ago.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Armed Police Force, Darshan Giri, said that required security arrangements have been made by deploying security personnel at Timure.

Meanwhile, a team comprising 13 members including businessmen left for Kerung after receiving permission from the immigration for the import of other commodities from China. RSS
