24 Sept-Kathmandu:
Rastriya Janamorcha led by Chitra Bahadur KC, and Sumyukta Janamorcha Nepal under the leadership of Kajilal Waiba formally united, today.
The parties are learnt to have held dialogue and negotiations for one and a half year for the unification of the two parties. They formally declared about their unification at press conference here today. The party organization is named Rastriya Janamorcha even after their unification.
Speaking at the press conference, Chairman of the Rastriya Janamorcha, KC, said the two political forces were formally merged so as to give positive message to the people ahead of the CA election and urged the leaders and cadres to go on the election campaign and elect the party as an important communist force in the next CA.
Chairman KC said, “The leftist forces should get complete majority in the next CA election by stressing that the leftist forces should be united if possible and if that was not possible they should collaborate on the basis of revolutionary policies.”
During the programme, leader Waiba said the CA election was only alternative to end current political impasse and urged that the poll opposing political parties including the CPN-Maoist should join the election process. RSS
