31 Aug, Parsa:

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana has stated that RPP was ready for party unification with RPP-Nepal provided it was willing to iron out differences regarding the internal statute the parties.

Speaking at a porgramme organized by RPP, Parsa Chapter in Birgunj on Tuesday, RPP Chair Rana further stated that the Party has kept its door open for dialogue and unification.

On a different note, Rana argued that the overall development of the country would not be possible without underscoring the development of Terai region.

He spoke of the need for the government to take into account the development of physical infrastructures both in Terai and remote areas in the mountain region.

Rana also instructed the party’s cadres to be on standby for the upcoming parliamentary and local bodies’ election to be held in April, 2017.

Similarly, RPP senior leader Dr Prakashchandra Lohani pressed for proportional representation based on population in the upcoming elections.

Likewise, General-Secretary of RPP and Minister for Supplies Deepak Bohora said that the government was effortful to curb inflation and black-marketeering. RSS
