Ratnanagar, Chitwan, Oct. 23: Senior Singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan has been honored with the lifetime achievement award in Chitwan.
Kalika FM Chairman Bikram Pandey honoured him with the award by draping with dosalla Tuesday evening on the occasion of the 11 th anniversary of the Radio Kalika FM of Chitwan.
On the occasion, singer Pradhan said such awards are important to encourage talents even in the outlying districts.
The FM has awarded in 26 categories. The awarded were, among others, singers Rajina Rimal, Shirish Devkota, Bishnu Majhi, Pramod Kharel, Milan Amatya, Arjun Pokhrel, Milan Lama, Sita Kandel, Sunil Giri with the Kalika Music Award.
As chief guest, senior musician Chetan Karki lauded the role played by the FM in honoring creatorsThe FM has organized month-long anniversary programmes. The FM also honored elderlies and organized various other programmes. RSS
