9 Nov, Kathmandu:

The statue of the supreme commander of the people’s uprising of 2046 BS, Ganeshman Singh, was honoured today.

The Ganeshman Singh Memorial Academy organized a ceremony to garland the late leader’s statue at Shova Bhagwati to mark his 102nd birth anniversary.

Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh laid the garland and said the constitution was drafted with the late Singh’s sacrifice and belief.

“There will be political stability only if various political party leaders can display a sacrifice of the likes of Ganeshman,” he added. He called for adopting Singh’s views for implementing the constitution.

Leader Singh argued that it would not be right to move against the people’s sentiment when implementing the constitution.
