4 Oct-Kathmand: A rally was organised in the capital today on the occasion of the World Mental Health Day. The Day is celebrated on 10th October every year.
The National Mental Health Network-Nepal and different government organisations and bodies concerned working in the field of mental health participated in the rally.
The rally was started from Chabahil-based Bouddha Stupa and it converged into a corner meeting after reaching at the Pashupati premises going through Hansamandal.
The World Mental Health Day is going to be celebrated this year under the slogan ‘Mental health and senior citizens’
Member Secretary of the Network, Netra Prasad Bhatta, said that the Day is being marked in Nepal for the past few years with an objective of creating awareness about mental disease.
A free mental health camp was also organised under the week-long programme to mark the Day. RSS
