28 April, Kathmandu: A woman aged 35 was killed in a road accident at Thado Bharyang, Swayambhu in the district last night.
The deceased is Bhagabati Aryal of Gorkha district who had been temporarily living in Kathmandu. According to traffic police, the accident took place when a truck (Lu 1 Kha 9996) hit a scooter (Ba 82 Pa 322) at the place.
Aryal was a pillion riding on the scooter at the time of the accident. The scooter rider was undergoing treatment at Martyr Memorial Hospital. Police has arrested the truck driver for further action.
The identity of drivers of both vehicles is yet to be confirmed. RSS
