Bhaktapur, Jan. 6: Bhaktapur Municipality has published an introduction of Bhaktapur which is known as a district of cultural and tourism importance, in various six international languages.

The municipality published the introduction to make the district known in the world through its brochure.

The brochure was brought out for providing information to internal and external visitors and was distributed since January 1, 2014.

It had printed a brochure in English in 2050 BS and now it published in German, Chinese, Japanese, France and Spanish languages.

It includes attractive pictures of tourism sites, introduction of heritages, must-reach destinations and map of Bhaktapur and major government offices.

Chief of municipality’s Tourism Service Centre Gautam Prasad Lasiba said it was distributed in view of demands of tourists and would work as a tourist guide itself.

Tourists will not miss sites of importance with the brochure in their languages, he said.

Information Officer of the Centre Damodar Suwal informed that most visitors here come from China.

He said although UN has recognized English, German, French, and Chinese as international languages, the municipality has also prioritized Japanese on the basis of number of tourists here. RSS
