18 Jan, Kathmandu: Defeating departmental Tribhuwan Army Club by four wickets, Nepal Police Club won the Second Ruslan Cup Cricket. In the final match held at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Tuesday, the Nepal Police Club managed the target of 143 runs set by the army club with the loss of six wickets in 19 overs.

Dipendra Singh Eri stood the highest contributor with 42 runs while Kushal Bhurtel gathered 34 runs and 24 runs by Dilip Nath for the victory of the Nepal Police Club.

Nepal Police Club bagged Rs 300,000 in cash as the first prize while first runner up Nepal Army Club received Rs 200,000.

The tournament organized by Kathmandu Cricket Training Center witnessed participation of eight different teams. RSS
