Daily life in the district has been severely affected due to the continued general strike (banda) enforced by disgruntled parties.
With this, locals are facing the shortage of daily consumable goods, petroleum products and cooking gas. The general strike remains continued for past 18 days.
Similarly, different industries at Krishna Nagar and Chandrauta areas have remained closed for several days. Likewise, schools and colleges in the district remain closed depriving thousands of students the right to education.
The cadres of banda enforces have been staging protests every day at Taulihawa, Krishnanagar, Pakadi among other places in the district. RSS
