The Legislature-Parliament meeting today passed a condolence motion on the demise of former Member of Parliament Balaraj Karki.
Karki passed away on August 26 at the age of 83.
Likewise, the meeting observed one minute’s silence in tribute to Karki, and wished for his departed soul to rest in peace and expressed condolence to the bereaved family.
The meeting was also halted for half an hour.
Karki, who joined the Nepali Congress since 2017, was elected to the House of Representatives on a NC ticket from Okhaldhunga constituency-1 in 2048 BS. RSS
