Damak, March 17: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, Kamal Thapa, has blamed the big political parties that their arrogance made hostage to the country.
“It is because of their superciliousness, consensus is eluding on the constitution writing,” he said while speaking with the media persons here this morning.
Similarly, the Chairman said the people were not confident of the ruling parties’ saying that they would get the constitution by May 29. The activities of the agitating political parties in the street were a big obstruction to writing new constitution, he added.
He suggested for the announcement of common understanding among the parties to clear current impasse. Also, the parties in the Constituent Assembly could hold meeting and seek measures to address the problems, according to him.
“My party is different from others on the issues of republic, federalism and secularism,” he said, adding, the disputes on these could be sorted out through voting in the CA.
On a different note, he said the unification process between his party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party was in the final phase.
The RPP-Nepal Chairman argued that the unification between these two nationalistic forces would help give political outlet to the country. RSS
