Siraha, Dec 21:  Eight professional teachers organization has called for the shut down of  the community school in the district today in support of a teacher who is reported to have warned of shooting the members of the School Management Committee (SMC) of Bramhan Gochari Secondary School.

Demanding the withdrawal of the public case filed against the teacher, the teachers related unions and organizations forbid the rights to student to have access to education by calling for a three day educational strike.

Meanwhile, the teachers associations have blamed the members of SMC  for igniting a trivial issue by filing a case which was to be sorted out through discussion.

Confirming the strike, District Education Officer of Siraha, Om Bahadur Katuwal, informed that the tussle between a teacher and SMC’s chairman caused the incident.

He also said that efforts are underway to initiate a discussion to narrow down differences between the conflicting parties.

Responding to this call, the chairman of SMC, Ganesh Chaudhary said that his request for coming to school in time was neglected by this teacher. Instead he was warned of a shooting over the phone.
