21 Feb, Kathmandu:

Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has said that the election code of conduct would be worked out soon after holding discussions with stakeholders.

In an interaction here today, Dr Yadav committed to hold election at any cost adding that it could not be stopped in any pretext. He stated that the code of conduct would be enforced within a week.
According to Yadav, over 21 thousand voting centres were needed to set up for the local elections.

He further shared that electronic voting was impossible as only 82 days were remaining to go to the polls and therefore they did not have enough time to educate the voters about the new technology. RSS
