7 June, Tulsipur (Dang): Minister for Urban Development Dr Narayan Khadka has said that the contentious issues on federalism could be resolved even through the referendum.
Speaking at a news conference organized by the Nepal Press Union, Dang chapter, here today, Minister Khadka said that the erstwhile Constituent Assembly (CA) could not bring the constitution due to differences on federalism among the political adding that incumbent CA should finalize this issue even through majority votes if consensus was not forged.
“If both the processes fail to resolve the issue then it should be finalized through referendum. It is the best solution,” Minister Khadka added. Minister Khadka claimed that new constitution will be promulgated at any cost by January 22. RSS
