30 Aug, Kathmandu: The agitating Joint Madhesi Front on Saturday responded to Prime Minister’s call for talks, setting four conditions, Saturday.

In order to sit for the talks, the Front has the conditions with the government that it immediately postponed constitution writing process; implemented the past agreements made with the Madhesi political parties, including the past 22-point and 8-point agreements; recalled the Nepal Army mobilized in different parts of the country and declare martyrs to those killed in the recent protests in Tarai/Madhes.

Talking to the National News Agency (RSS), Front leader Rajendra Mahato said they have urged the government to create favourable atmosphere for talks, and if the government met the four pre-conditions set by the Front, it would sit for the dialogue. RSS
