Leaders of Madhesi parties currently agitating in the streets in the Tarai held a secret meeting at the residence of Chairman of the Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party Mahantha Thakur at Sanothimi in Bhaktapur today.
Leaders of the parties that come together through the Madhesi front held deliberations for around three hours in the wake of the date for promulgation of the new constitution on coming September 20. The meeting focused around whether to continue with the ongoing agitation in the Tarai or to go for a dialogue, according to the Thakur residence source.
Present at the meeting were TMLP Chair Thakur, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chair Upendra Yadav, Tarai Sadbhawana Party Chair Mahendra Raya Yadav as well as leaders Hridayesh Tripathi, Ram Naresh Yadav, Ashok Rai, Rajendra Shrestha, Manish Suman. RSS
