Businessmen in Nawalparasi district have opened shops against the banda (shutdown), citing the district banda called since long has affected normal life.
Markets in Nawalpur, Sunwal and Bhumahi and surrounding areas have been opened.
The businessmen opened the markets saying they are hit hard the most due to the district shutdown. The Tharuhat Struggle Committee, United Madhesi Front and Integrated Nawalparasi Struggle Committee have also called shutdown today, the 10th consecutive day.
Business, industry, educational institutions and transport services have been affected at the district headquarters, Parasi, and southern part of the district due to the shutdown. RSS
