22 April, Mustang: Three pilgrims were killed on the spot in a road accident at Kagbeni in the district today. They were killed when the bus (Na 5 Kha 6067) they were travelling in met with the accident there. It was heading to Muktinath from Jomsom.
Similarly, 11 pilgrims were critically injured while others had minor injuries in the accident.
According to district police office Mustang, identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed.
Police added that, the injured were rushed to hospital and a dozer has been used to pull out the ill fated bus.
It may be noted that as many as 26 pilgrims were on board. It is appropriate season for Muktinath shrine trip. RSS
